Ok hi to all you guys, and i need some info"help".i have a 91 5.0 with an aod, stock gears, i believe to run a 15.1-15.2 being a vert and having a gt with aod. i have a offraod h-pipe and cold air intake and bbk 70mm tb and egr plate. i want to put the elderbrock rpm mainfold "from idle-5500rpm" and some 3.55 gears, and wanted to know if i should upgrade my injectors and what other minor not exspensive bolt ons i can do with my car to hope to get down to some high 13's. i have had my car for two years and have learned alot about fords and love mustangs, if yu could please help with ur opinion i would really be gratefull.Also what about a msd dist. and msd ignition box6 will that help, i just want to know what basic bolt ons i could put on the car to have it run a low14 or high 13 maybe with out nitrous, and if nitrous what kind, what kind of shot with out hurting the motor.

headers, cam, roller rockers, maybe some heads, and i wouldnt put 24# injectors unless u put heads and cam on. oh yeah maybe an A/C delete , B&M ripper shifter, aluminum drive line, bigger fuel pump, sub frame connectors, upper and lower control arms, springs, electric fan, oh and if u wanna run 13's u will need a roll bar in a drop, and a driveshaft safety loop (i think the rules changed to 13's not sure tho i will have to check on that again) and there is some other stuff to but this will get u started

just convert it to a 5 speed u will get a lot more performance out of a 5 speed with a performance clutch , i had an aod with a shift kit , and my tranny went out in no time,

your list + 5 speed swap doesn't sound like minor non-expensive bolt-ons to me.
edit: and if I did that many mods to a 5.0 I would hope to hell it at least ran 12's after all that
