going to hayward today taking my girl to an appointment and i went to put it into first and it grinded hard and then i put it in nutral and it went into first then the tranny started to shake real bad then i couldnt get into no gear i cant down shift at all when it a stop you can hear this ticking sound can anyone help me please.

Install a new tranny and you won't have this problem.

sounds like you've got clutch cable issues, or throw out bearing issues.

and now since you ground the gears...shift linkage and tranny issues
