Well my car has been running like crap lately,

It will, when the engine is cold, stumble and backfire when ever you shift gears or get out of the throttle then back in. It went away when it warmed up all the way. It has a steady misfire at part throttle operation.

I pulled codes today

KOEO ( Key on Engine Off)

33 - EGR or Canister problem.
66 - NO MAF Signal ??? think that may have been stored, i disconected the MAF with the car on recently.

KOER ( Key On Engine Running )

21 - Coolant temp out of specfied range - I didnt let the car warm up to past 180.

44 - Air Management System

Can anyone elaborate on these please.

Mike

21 I thought was oxygen sensor, always lean? often accompanied by 41 (other bank lean, I thought?)

EGR: who cares

MAF: sounds bad, lol

44: thermactor crap: possibly your issue. assuming all your smog shit is hooked up, this tends to cause some idle weirdness when it's not working right. the chiltons shows you how to troubleshoot the vacuum related thermactor crap, you need one of those hand pumps that can pull vacuum to test everything out. takes a while.

or it might just be a clogged EGR valve. that makes your car run like shit too.

lol I'm so helpful [Big Grin]

33-Check your EGR position sensor on the back of the EGR, those things stick a lot...

66-may come as a result of an aftermarket MAF...Basically the computer reads the input below minumum or it's grounded...

21-let the car warm up next time...

44-Basically replace the check valve on the right cylinder head...They're one way valves that basically get stuck...

Hope this helps...
