JUST RECENTLY GOT MY 5.0 BACK ON THE ROAD AND THE ONLY MODS I HAVE ARE UPPER/LOWER INTAKE, COLD AIR, MASS AIR, JBA HEADERS, ASP PULLEYS, MSD 6AL, 40 SERIES FLOWMASTER TURN DOWNS. WHEN I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT THE CAR IN STOCK FORM IT WAS BURNING GOOD, SINCE I DID SOME OF THESE MINOR MODS IT THREW OFF MY MIXTURE (TOO RICH) I WOULD ASSUME, SHOULD I GET IT TUNED, OR WHAT IT'S BASICALLY A ROOKIE ? SO I WILL TAKE THE HEAT FOR IT THANKS!

What do the spark plugs look like?...Do you still have the stock H pipe on there?...Did you change your injectors with the mass air set up?...When was the last time you changed your O2 sensors?...If you have over 60K I'd change them...

Swap back to orig. mass air & see if it helps.

How do you know that your car is running rich? Do you have an offroad h/x-pipe on your car?

What MAF and injecors are on the car? You should stick with the stock injectors/MAF at your power level.

With all the mods you listed you made your motor breathe considerably better but now youve got a problem..... too much air, not enough fuel. Time to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, injectors (not sure what size), and tuned chip to put everything in synch with the larger MAF sensor.
