i have KB 9 psi kit, my rods are knocking badly. is there any good machine shop in San Jose or around that area?
any recommendation for my forged internal?

Daves engine and machine in newark is a great shop. Thier work is top notch and they can recomend some internals for your engine. I will get you their number tomarrow, if you are interested.

Here's another vote for Rob's he did some work on one of my other car's head and the work came out great.

Plus it's right here in the Haystack!

By the way what happened...was this off of their tune that they sent you? Or was it tuned elsewhere?

I thought KB made their set-ups very safe for our 91 octane crap.... [Confused]

i use KB tune. Somehow, i got a hesitation when i shift from 2nd to third at 5700rpm. After it did that i heard lots of noise coming from the engine. Greg at GNJ motorsport said the rods are knocking [Frown]
