who in the Bay Area does port and polishing on DOHC lower intakes? I'm considering doing it on my '01 cobra.

Daves engine and machine in newark does great port work. Not sure about 4v intakes but its worth a call. Angie has ported my friends heads and got some great CFM numbers out of them.

Take your Cobra to HCI in Sac they build some badass DOHC engines and do porting. They have some great flowing intakes as well.

Thanks, I'll call Dave's and see what they have to say.

Not much you can do with those manifolds as far as porting goes. You can only get to the last 4-5 inches of runner. You'd either need to cut open the manifold or better yet, have it Extrude honed.

Kinda hard to port plastic without it melting. [Wink]
Not many options for ya.... I like the performance of the Bullet myself. Especially when ported correctly. (or Extrude honed)
Don't expect massive gains unless boosted though.
