Hey how many miles do you guys go per tank?
List mods. if your heavily modified. I think something is wrong with my GT i only get 215 miles a tank [Eek!] It used to be 250 but slowly its been dropping and i don't get on it that much either. [Frown]

I got a 95 GT with Eddy Performer Intake, Ecam, full exhaust, and pullies.

Highway driving I get 250+, street driving, I'm lucky if I get 200

My 95 vert, with shorties, o/r x and no tailpipes(too lazy to install) and a cold air intake, I barely get 200 with some freeway, otherwise I get about 180-170miles street. Thats with a freaking 15 gallon tank that takes 34 bucks to fill up with premium..im suffering hardcore. ohhh and I also have exhaust leaks and my engine coolant temperature sensor is messed up.

I know I'm not a 95 but my 89 got 315 miles on a tank once.

Hmmm, not a GT, but on my Cobra I average about 15 in the city, 20 on the highway using 91 octane.

FT (16g)= 240+/- in the city
FT (16g)= 300+/- highway

Car is mainly stock except for 70TB,CAI, & all exhaust. But i do usually have my plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter changed every 25-35K miles. Regardless, everyone's MPG will be different since some ppl use A/C a lot more, drive a lot more heavy footed, etc.

In my old 95 I would get about 14 city auto with 3.27 gears but the check engine light was comming on every so often (bad egr valve).

what mods do you have on the car?
ever since I had my 373s put in, the gas mileage has suffered, but I dont care, it woke up the car

I think after driving home tonight i know something is wrong with it. It acted like it lost power for a second so i jumped on it and it pulled nicely but i definitely felt a power loss. Also when i have it in maybe 2nd gear or first gear and i lightly let off on the gas the car starts jerking sometimes like its stalling but it shouldn't cause the rpms are usually at 1500rpm when it does it.

I need to do an oil change it just hit 3K miles but i don't think thats the problem. Theres something else but i don't know what. I am going to run the codes this weekend and check over the engine. I KNOW something is wrong. I can sense it.

All i have is a K&N, some Underdrive pulleys and a BBK fuel regulator. [Frown]

how many miles are on the car? did you get a CE light?

I get an average of 265-280 miles per full tank, if I drive it to the last drop.

Mods are stock 5.0 heads, stock cobra intake, 76mm MAF, 65mm TB,MSD wires and coil, MAC headers, 2-cat H-pipe, dynomax exahaust and some exhaust leaks, 3.73's and AODE tranny. The engine has a bad #5 ring and runs hot but never boils over. My gas miles are mostly highway.

Is your car an auto or 5-speed?

Also, make sure your fuel pressure isn't too hight.

when you drive it, what gear do you cruise in?
driving with the tach at 3k+ will certanly drain the gas quicker.

damn! seems like gas mileage is HORRIBLE in 94/95 GTs. the reason i got the 4.6 was cause of the mpg. i get about 260-265 city miles and 295+ highway miles...and thats with 4.10s!!!!! [Big Grin]

thats cuz with a 5.0 you feel the need to speed, and a 4.6 is a grocery getter.... KIDDING.

I honestly thought they were about the same
