OK , well I hate to say this but.......I lost to a Honda he didn't beat me bad, but still. I have 3.55, March u/d pullies, Mac Headers, Mac O/R H-pipe, BBK cold air intake, King cobra clutch, 190 fuel pump and some other little things. I would like to make my car a little faster so that this very unlikly to happen again. I dont want to waste my money on parts that my car isn't ready for. So this is where I need some advice. What up-grades do you guys think I shoud do next (besides HEADS and a 306......) thanks

What did he have? Hybrid? I bet it was a freeway race with a flyby.

Just get your shifting and launch down. Get him from a dig also.

I think it...... hope it was highly moded. It didn't sound stock. It was a freeway race though and he did get me at the top of 4th. I think 1320 I would have had a better chance. Its just crazy that a Brigs & Straton 5hp does all that.

what would give me more top end?

BTW........

It was a Silver 95-98ish Civic Hatch-back looked good for a Honda.

I shift around 4,900 5,000 some times I go over on accident

maybe he had nitrous, otherwise I don't see how he beat you. Were you racing in reverse? just playin hahaha.

LOL , I might have a better chance then. I don't think he had NOS. He beat me, but not that bad . If I had a little something extra I would have pulled. What do you think I should add what is the best bang for the buck? (some thing practial)

is this a heavy GT vert you have or what? You should go pretty good with those mods.

Wanna cheap fix , try cranking your timing around to 14-18 btdc. It made a huge difference in my car

Well, its a GT but is an 1986, so it looks like a LX, also it's a hard top..

I dont know guys, he is always out in Burlingame on Fri/Sat nights......Anyone fellin lucky
