alrighty,
wondering if its possible to unbolt the four bolts connecting the trans to the bell housing
...will this distrub the throw out bearing
or can i wedge somthing between the clutch fork
to retain it?
i got bbk longtubes on the car so i'm trying to get away with just unbolting the trans from the bell .
will the throwout bearing fall when i pull the
t-5 back???

When I changed my trans that waht I did. Just unbolted the four bolts and took it out. Then slid the other on in and made sure the shaft went through the T.B. and wiggled it in. No problem!

Leave the clutch cable hooked up; the throw-out bearing isn't going anywhere.

true as johnb said it wont move just make sure you get it lined up right on re-install , wiggle and push and it will go in
