My clutch never went out it had about 45k miles on it and still looked good. The only reason I changed it was because I blew the tranny and put the LTs on plus a bunch of other crap.

not sure if youve ever seen Mark drive..but at the drag strip hes a freakin animal! launches with no mercy and bangs the gears HARD!! Then changes tires and commutes through stop and go traffic to and from work [patriot]
[Smile] Rhett PM me your cell number I can't find it.

BTW I have a spec II and it can be a pain in traffic.

[Eek!] Wow, my King Cobra couldn't last through 3 passes on ET Streets....Hard to believe your clutch lasted that long, but it's awesome... [worship]

Clutch life depends on many factors:

how long you ride it out of the hole (which shouldn't be much with MT Streets warmed up)

how long you drive the car mileage-wise

lots of stop-go traffic

I would go with a Spec II when it's time to replace it.

I would waste the money on a spec II, when a Spec III is only $30 more. Pay the cash its worth it.
