As of now im running a blackMagic electric fan w/ 15inch blades, its not really helping the car cool down, the temperature stays constant @ 190-210 on hot days...

Im thinking about getting this fan off Sacstangs.com

It says it cools down the engine and adds some kind of power

Thanks

those flex-fans (not clutch) are like a shrapnel grenade under the hood, and they are definitely costing more HP than a OE clutch fan, probably to the tune of 10+ HP as the OE clutch fan will disengage and freewheels above around 2k rpms

it will cool better that the black majic but it will cost u more power than its worth

maybe just look into a better radiator

I had the flex fan on my 92 with the following (Edelbrock water pump, 180 stat, three row radiator, water wetter and an underdrive pulley system) and it didnt cool shit. In traffic on a hot day 210-225. The HP increase at high rpm didnt equal out to a possible overheating nightmare.

Yeah i just talked to someone with a Summitracing Aluminum Radiator, so what type fan will be good for me? The blackmagic is garbage to me [Mad]

so wait, your car runs between 190-210 degree's on hot days...

where's the problem? That is operating temp...if your car didn't get to 190 I would be more concerned with a sensor problem

well it doesnt just go up to 210 and stay there, it reaches 220, so after i park the guy i can hear the boiling water going over to reserve tank [Mad] And last time the damm electric fan didnt turn which cost engine to run @ 240-250

thats not good...I have the black magic, with the temp knob roughly set to the middle. Straight water in the radiator (no anti-freeze) and the radiator is a new 2 core aluminum unit. Car runs at 190` no matter how I drive, it runs cooler on the freeway but not much.
