i finally got my car back about three weeks ago with the new engine. it's .020 over with cp pistons and manley rods now. i have the patriot stage 2 heads and the comp cams xe270s. i drove it around for about a two weeks and then took it in to get tuned. i was hoping for right about 300rwhp and tq and it ended up with 311 rwhp and 311rwtq SAE (or 320 and 320 STD). i will post the graph shortly for all to see. but over all i an very happy with the components i went with and i have no complaints so far...

i got my car tuned at dyno labs in san ramon. ray did a great job. the price tag was more than expected but it was about 5k... but the car runs great. i'm actually going to sac on weds to try to get into those 12s on street tires

i don't think the car will be able to pass smog with these cams. but i have long tubes and a prochamber anyway, so that really doesn't matter.

as far as the exhaust, the l/t and prochamber, but i also have weld up 2 chamber flows. i'm actually thinking about getting a slp catback, or possible a mac one. but that will have to wait until this engine is paid off...
