i have 16" rims and have 205-40-16 for the front wheels. what is an ideal size for the rear wheels other than the same sizes? i was thinkin 205-50-16 or 205-55-16

do you want taller tires?

205-40's are shorter than 205-50's

if you want wider tires, 225/55-16's would be stock height but a lot wider.

a larger (taller or wider) tire on your 4banger will only make it slower though, especially a taller tire.
