Will the DSS "race prep" rod hold in a 300 - 350 hp combo??
anyone using it in theirs??

I've seen stock rods past the 300 hp level. It would probally be a safer and longevity route to run a set of summit stage 1/2 rods. Or find a compentent machine shop and nitred them.

stock rods can take more than a stock 5.0 block if the tune is good
stock reconditioned rods with arp bolts, trw forged pistons "cheap", and a reconditioned stock crank, can take more power on a good tune that anything u will ever throw at it mike
no reason to waist money on forged rods and crank if on the stock block
