I Know this is gonna be the Dumb Question of the Week--I have a 86 GT project, just about finished, havent taken it on a long drive yet.ahem,I was looking at the ugly ass steering wheel and thinking of replacing it when I noticed all the cruise control buttons.....ahem, I have a t-5 and Ive never heard of cruise control with standard trannys. WTF???do the cruise controls work with sticks? what controls it all? aww jeez, probably gonna hear it from yall--thanks [Roll Eyes]

Yeah...cruise control and a manual transmission are not mutually exclusive. It should be used only on the highway though, like when you are in 5th gear.

It works fine. It will disengage when you hit the button, step on the brake or the clutch.

I wanted to get a new steering wheel on my 86GT when I had it...

The Fox Body Saleen's had the factory cruise control switches mounted to a Momo, Monte Carlo steering wheel...I always wanted to do that...I'm pretty sure you can still get the brackets to mount the CC switches to a Momo, but I'm not sure who carries them... [patriot]

Cruise control is Gay in the mustang, never used so I tore the thing out of the fender and lost 3lbs on the car [Big Grin]
