okay, this is what's happening: when I hit about 5,000 rpm my friends car stutters. I don't know why it's doing this. Here's his setup: 347, cam, performer RPM ported and polished heads 11-1 compression, victor manifold, full exhuast, gears, MSD 6AL, 75mm throttle body, 75mm mass air, 30lb. injectors, cold air, running stock distributor with holley modulator, dyno sheet also shows the same thing happening. the graph shows loss of horse power at 5,000 rpm.first gear is good all the way to red line second gear is good all the way through red line, third is where it stutters at 5,200 RPM, fourth is okay and fifth is okay. What could the problem be?

Fuel pump and or Pressure? Do you have a fuel pressure guage? Sounds like you are running out of fuel. Fine through the first two gears, and then lays down....Pump not keeping up?
