Howdy folks, HELP. I have a project 86, it had a fuel problem(little hose on pump rotted)and While solving it I replaced everythin in the fuel system(pump,filter,regulator,tps) and I got a bargain on some "New" injectors on ebay-19lb, 14.7ohm the seller said they came from a 5.8L crate engine and were never used. Now I have good pressure, power to injectors and noid light works,but it seems the injectors arent injectin--I cranked the engine and the plugs look dry-How can I test them for functioning, will 5.8 injectors work in a 5.0?

Well heres a new one -my injectors were stuck closed! after researchin a while I took em out, sprayedthe heck out of em with carb cleaner then took a lil 9V smoke detector battery and made leads, touched em to the injector and tried to feel/hear a click. soaked em some more, then got a piece of 5/16 fuel hose and connected it to the tip of the injector , filled it half full of cleaner, connected the battery and my air compressor to the hose and blew out some coffee colored junk. then I sprayed cleaner again and blew from other end--injectrs work great
