Evey so often my cars idle gets stuck between 2000-2500RPM's and the only way for it to come back down is if I shut the car off, then before the car shuts off it shakes and gives this loud ass backfire. Could it be something to do with the fuel?

you need a new are by pass valve e9az-9f715-ba and your car wont idle up to 2000-2500rpm this part cost $60 i had the same thing happen to my 89 gt and i got the valve and it didnt idle up anymore

Can I disconnect the Air Bypass valve temporarely to see if thats the prblem? Ive had the car for 5 months and it recently started doing this. The backfire sounds as loud as a shotgun.
