i am currently running two 40 series flowmasters with 3 inch turn down at a 45 degree angle /\. but i was thinking of buying the basssani x-pipe with high flow cats the one that you can clamp together. will i notice a difference in sound compared to the stock h-pipe or is the change over useless and better to spend the $ on the bolt-ons thanks alot -tony

If you are concerned about money, I'd just buy an off road H and spend the rest of your money else where...

Bassani make great pipes and basically anything is an improvement over the stock H pipe...

As far as sound that's something only you can really choose... [patriot]

i would agree with black94, but if you dont want to go with an off road x for smog reasons then i still think you will see much improvement if you go with the bassani x with high flow cats. you definatly will feel the difference, and it will sound nicer, but not as nice and loud as it would with an off road pipe! the x-pipe provides a totally different sound than an h-pipe and when i changed from a high flow cat pipe x to a no cat x wow the difference was hugh in sound and exhaust flow but mainly more in the sound. x-pipes are raspy. [patriot]
