305, prob at the wheels depending on how many miles are on the engine i give the car an estimated guess at 280rwhp but hey it dosent matter how much power he has the ? is can he drive that will tell you a whole lot about how the race is going to go.

really...305, damn...i drove it and it pulled pretty good, but i didnt think it had that much...i just have a 98 gt with the bolt ons, but its his first stick and hes been driving it for like two weeks and i have had my car for 2 and half years(so i guess i have a driving edge). thanx guys for your feedback

With just an x-pipe, pulleys, cold air, mass air meter, and throttle body, you should see around 280 RWHP, 290 LBs.

but remember that your 98 gt is about pulling 190+ hp to the rear, compare to 265 hp to the rear, even if your friend doesn't know how to take off, he will catch up to u and then pass u.
