Damn closest autozone to me is in hayward which wouldn't be bad if I wasn't worried about driving the car that far. The Dodge allows you to read the PCM with key cycles though the code I am getting is that there is another code stored in the TCM (Transmission control module) which requires a scanner to grab. I'm worried that I'll get half way there and the tranny will go into limp home mode meaning it won't shift out of second gear

Thanks Rob (black 94 5.0) for hooking me up with the OBD II scan. After reading the code it looks bad for my transmission in the Dodge At least now I know where to start. Thanks again!

Haha thanks Rob,

I looked it up when I got in. Seems Dodge Intrepid's have a site very like this one. A few good tech's on there as well. I need to ask around and see what the next step is. Hopefully not replacing the torque converter. Oh yes a BIG thanks to Wilit as well
