Id check and see if its a hose issue (not tighten enough or torn).

At the dealer. They're not that expensive. What costs a lot is finding some poor sap that is in to self abuse to install it for you. I think the going quote is about 10 hours of labor. I did mine myself and it was every bit the pain in the ass that everyone says it is.
I think that the heater core was about $60. But it cost me an additional $200 for the broken windshield. I know you're thinking "how the f^&k do you break a windshield doing a heater core swap?". It's not easy but I did it.
HAVE FUN!
Sean.

Mine is bypassed too.
I had it fixed once to the tune of 1100.00 and am sure as hell aren't gonna do that again.

holy shit, 1100$ , i got my heater core from kragen for about 25$, and it only took me a few hours to do.
the hardest thing about doing the heater core IMO, is remembering where most of the screws go i guess.

Do what everyone does. Bypass it. Who needs a heater anyways!

exactly....save the money and buy a jacket instead.
I was 1100.00 to get it fixed because in SN95s, you have to take the entire dash apart for the install.

Did it the first time myself...never will do that again. The 2nd & 3rd times, I had it replaced at Radiatorland in Santa Clara. They were very reasonably priced.

do u guys think it would be easier if the dashboard was taking out. I'm in the middle of swapping dash's so i tought i would do it since its out. I know it still works, but i would hate for it to leaks a couple of weeks later . u know what i mean.

YES, it'll be a cake walk with the dash already out.
