I have a 94 mustang Gt with a Saleen kit and I just bought a new cobra R 2000 hood and s351 spoiler and I have a speedster tonneau cover that all need to be painted. I also have some scratches around the car that need some love. I was quoted 1000 dollars because it requires a three stage paint because it is red. If anyone knows anybody that will do it for a lot less please get back to me. I also just purchased a 302 bored out to 306 and need the short block installed. I am still waiting for the oil pump but I need this installed as well. I got a quote for 530 but want to have it done cheaper. please get back to me....

Well to tell you the truth both of those prices sound very fair. If you want it done right pay the money if you want to do it twice payless now and more later. Just my 2 cents.

You got a quote for 3-stage paint...and it was only 1k? Is that ALL the prep, with you just dropping the pieces off? If so...You better take that and run. The supplies alone will run anyone close to $5-600, depending on the quality of the paint and the quality of the work.
As for the engine swap, I'd look at the quote alot closer. Is that EVERYTHING for $500ish?

agreed...I'd looka bit more into that before you settle on it. It's possible for sure, but if it's too good to be true......
