For about a month now I have been hearing this noise come from the passenger rear when I hit the throttle. But when I put it into nuetral ant gas it there is no noise. I think it may be my shocks in the rear might need tightening. Any guess? I have new kybs in the rear less that 10k miles. Noise= rattling squeak of some sort (hella weird noise) Thanks.

This maybe a stupid question but...where are the torque boxes, what do they look like and how much to get them replaced or fixed? Thanks.

Torque boxes are what the lower control arms mount to on the car side and the surrounding structure. Look for tears in the metal. Cost depends on what the condition is like

Exactly. Mine did the exact same thing. From a stop or gassing it while cruising it would creak or click. Looked under and could see it was torn.

I hear that Big Boy Racing does good work on the torque boxes. Good luck.

Sean.

Thanks to all for the great advise. At crack of sunlight I will check. I think we are heading in the right direction. Yah and the noise is like a creaking noise, couldn't figure a word to describe it. Any other possible reason? Thanks again to everyone.

I'd also check out the bushings on the upper control arms. If it's a creek than most likely its the boxes
