AFR's [worship] but if I had to choose from those two I'd say Brodix [patriot]

Lets see, well are you looking for a smog head or a non smog head. Is the car going to be road raced or drag raced. If you compare the brodix heads to most aftermarket heads look at the coolant passages. They are much smaller. On road race cars I've seen it be an issue. You really can't go wrong with a set of edelbrocks. Their great. In my opinion they are one of the best built heads around. All the bolt holes are heli-coiled all around solid head. Now my choice above the edelbrocks is based stricly on what you'll gain power wise. AFR's are the only other head I really like. Pull them right out of the box and they are good to go. The only down side I see is the bolt holes are not heli-coiled as a standard procedure but you can order them that way if you call AFR. I'd say the best bang for the buck has got to be AFR's. They make great #'s and are reliable. You can get them in 58cc chambers to raise the compression where as with edelbrocks you have to mill them down. The AFR's are also even more impressive with just a little work. So I'd say AFR's

Yes! [burnout] AFR's [burnout] I read an article about it and it's worth a HUNDRED horse power than other heads. (with additional mods of course) It'll cost $$'s but it's worth it.

Gee I wonder whose web site the article was on? AFR's and they flat out lied about the test. that being said they are a good head LOL. Edelbrock RPM,s are alsoa good head.

tell me more since most here love the AFR's. Im an iron head man cause I cant afford crap but my present heads (gt40's)have been on a cobra that produced 460 ish rwhp with 10-12lbs of boost. I like to hear all opinions on this cause one day I will move up to an aluminum head. I was thinking of the Ford Motorsport Z304 head.
