i have a 89 gt lowered about 1 to 1.5 inches. i want to run 17x9 rims. does any one know if this will cause a problem. thanks

you can run a 17x9 rim with no problem. if you run a wide tire, you'll have to remove the quad shocks and roll the outer fender lip a bit, it's not hard. i'm rolling a 275/40/17 tire on the back and thats about as wide as you can go without major fender work. pm me if you have any more ques.
