I was just wondering if the front struts could get stuck in a position where they do not have any give anymore. I have the koni yellows in the front and recently the ride has been rather harsh. When I down press on the car the strut has no give. Does it sound that they have gone bad or could they be stuck?

The strut is basically a dampener...Which means it dampens or slows down the effects of suspension travel...
If you press down on a car while it's stationary, you're only really testing the springs, so its not really accurate...To test struts you would puch down on the car and see how bouncy it is on rebound...If you want to simulate a test to be more accurate, see what happens when you drop the car from a certain height.. By releasing the hydraulic jack really fast and letting your car drop, you can set marks on the struts and see how much they are depressing...This is only an idea, but I'm sure it will work....
Here's some questions for you:
1) Have you tried adjusting the strut?..
2) Is it leaking any oil?
3) What happens when you drive it?
BTW all Koni's come with a lifetime warranty last time I checked...
