Sounds like 3.08's to me. If they are the original ones, get the axle code off the door jamb tag and post it, I'll tell you exactly what's in there.

I'd jack the car up, spin the tire and count the rotations of the driveshaft. This takes the speedo gear (possibly being incorrect) outta the picture too.

do 80 if your at 3000 youve got 3:55s or go 40 in 4th and you should be at 2000 rpms

I am at 1900RPM AT 75MPH and I assume I have 273's
