ok in order for me to work on my car like take the intake off i have to remove my strut brace. in order to remove it i have to take off both my front whels so i can hold the nut underneath and then tighten it back down. has anyone ever used anything else to keep it mounted? i was gonn atry to find something that will make the nut stay against the fender underneath but im not sure what yet.

I was gonna try to find a high quality wing nut and try that but not sure if it would be strong enough.just a thought

Often times I've done this to get around this problem. You usually can just jack the car up on either side enough to reach in there with a wrench to get on the back side of the bolts. This way with the weight somewhat off the front wheels the suspension hangs down enough to provide the clearance you need. Also allowing you to place the nuts and washers back on without having to remove the wheels. This is partly why I am not a fan of strut tower braces and with the tiny amount of differnce they make don't ever run one. I guess you could if you are finding yourself doing this all the time weld some nuts to the under side of the front towers with the brace tightened down in final location. Good luck
