okay...well not in my mustang. not gonna drive it as much as i used to. gonna be my project car. anyways. to make the long story short. i have a 1982 mazda 626 with 109000 on it..(pretty good)and everytime i drive on the freeeway and exit.. the "oil light goes on".and thats when im at a stop. i was thinking it was the pressure bc when i push on the gas, the light turns offf.? is it the pressure?? or am i burning oil?

Uh have you checked your oil level?

Get an oil pressure gauge and tap it into the motor somewhere. Close the hood after routing the line safely into the car. Watch the oil pressure gauge when the light comes on. Could be low oil pressure or just a bad oil pressure sending unit/gauge. This is the only way to find out really after you've checked the obvious like oil level.
