Just finished installing a fender mount cold air intake kit on my cousins 2003 GT. After starting the car up the check engine light came on. We checked the hoses and they all seem to be tight. We did notice we forgot to put the gasket that comes with the kit that goes between the air meter and the elbow that goes to the fender wall. Could that be the problem, could it be leaking air where the gasket should go causing the the air to escape and the light to come on.
