I have a '97 Cobra and I have a NOS setup that I'm not sure I want to run in my car. In all the years I've been following mustangs, I've yet to see an alluninum block on juice. And I was wondering if there is a reason for this?

no, nitrous away, u wont have a problem
dont go above a 100 shot without tuning and atleast a fuel pump

The DOHC motors respond better to boost than nitrous.

I've always wanted to do this too. It'll be safe man. I spray my 75 shot like a mad man all the time and no problems. In fact I'm still running a little rich so I'm going to switch to the 100 shot as soon as someone can tell me the jet numbers I need. Good luck
