My 94GT had a weight of around 3650lb.... [Eek!] I still had the full interior,A/C, smog pump and about 1/2 a tank of gas..

JDUB07's 89LX tipped the scale with full interior, A/C, smogpump and about 1/4 full on gas at around 3250lb...

Both cars were weighed on the same scale at Sac raceway and with both of us in our own cars...Neither one of us had any weight reduction other than our spare tire being out...

Sup bro,

check this

http://www.californiafords.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=014418

You gonna get $500 anyways tomorrow [Wink] Get that and drop a 5.0 engine for about $500-1000 with low miles and you got a 5.0 there [burnout]

Best way to go.

a 5.0 conversion from a 2.3 donor car is a weeeeee bit more work than just obtaining the 302...
