They are very high quality pistons.

I hear they're used on Formula One cars but I couldn't find anything on them in any of the Mustang mags I have...

Not much on the internet too.

very expensive 899.00 with rings. they are only for regular style heads. Will not fit trick flow T/W heads

A guy by the name of Bob Johnson in Sac just built a 331 stroker for me with Mahle pistons and TW heads.

I'm going to look on the Mahle website to find out if there's any documentation on this.

Obviously they can be made for use with TW heads.

Chyrsler used them in all 2.2/2.5 turbo cars for years(88-92). Even though they were mostly cast version(except DOHC RT) they held up great. If you look at the old Mopar book the cast pistons were used in the 300hp Super 60 kit for the 2.2/2.5 motors. Trust me I use them in my car 2.5 turbo Omni and they are very strong pistons.

Here's what I got from the builder...

The pistons were purchased from Keith Craft were they were milled and fly cut for the twisted wedge heads.
