Anyone out there in the Castro Valley area want to help me put in my speedcal? I did a search for installs and people said they were easy, but I don't have a lift to get to the transmission or a multimeter. I'd go to a shop,but want to pay $100+ for labor.
Anyone at all??? [Confused]

it's really simple. read the instructions and follow each step. it's not as hard as you think. all you need is a jack stand and a jack, lift not needed. just jack up the driver side and crawl under there. all the wires are all colored so you can't go wrong. don't be afraid to do it. remember to take the neg. battery cable off first befor you start.

bought the same thing for my 99 cobra looked at it and said forget this, bought a heypertech programmer much easier and u can unprogram it and sell it if u ever wanted to

I don't have a mulitmeter either. Is one really necessary?

i didn't not have to use one. if you are really nervous, just read and re-read each step before you do it and get a clear picture in your head first. it's cake.

you can buy a analog meter from sears for $6.00
or a cheaper one from Kragen for like $4.00
digitals are like $10. they are handy to have and are not that expensive.
