89 lx pretty much stock i went from about 22 mpg to about 10 mpg fresh tuneup about 4 months ago only driven about 1 month out of the 4. it still runs good but a slight power loss what do you guys think, o2 sensers? cats getting clogged? or ?

you could try cleaning it but new is alwalys good.the 02s are possible whens the last time they were changed?

i have never noticed a fuel smell. that is something i will check tomorrow thanks

make sure the thermostat is not stuck open.
If the engine doesn't warm up it will stay in open loop and the gas milage goes down the toilet.
This can also lead into overloading the cats with fuel and causing them to clog up and the engine will loose power.

i think you might have solved the problem i never thought of that this thing never gets hot and now that its getting cold the gauge dosent move at all, thanks for the help guy's ill try a thermastat, o2's and check out the egr i am going to be puting the spray to it real soon [burnout] so i need to make sure everything is ready
