Remove the lines first, then the pump. MAKE SURE the gromments that are on the brackets of the new pump are installed correctly, if not it will buck and flop around the first time you put power to it. <br />Once you've got everything together, fill the pump up. Run the top up and down 4-5 times. After EACH cycle, check the fluid level. It should be just below the plug hole. You'll hear the air escaping the first/second time you try it. If it doesn't go up right away, just hold the top switch for 5-7 second intervals (then check the fluid again).
