My setup was pretty lopey. I also had 1.72 rockers too, that may be why. It was bad enough to drop my vaccuum all the way to ~11 inches at idle.

huh [Confused] i had the trick flow stage 1 cam (which is larger then the e 303) with 1.7 rockers and straight piped to flows with turn downs, and it was NOT lopey, it was simply a loud smooth rumble.

The E303 is lopey.

Though I don't believe I have everything dialed in correctly on my install, my E303 does give a lope to the idle. Lopes enough to get my friends wondering if there's an idle problem.

If you are thinking of getting this cam, make sure you realise the power curve this cam kicks in at. Mine seems to get the car pulling at about 1500 rpm, then my baby really gets fun. Rpms before that seem to lug the engine.

Not mine. It loped a lot. I actually just put my stock cam back in last week cause I was tired of the shitty idle.

It really depends on where you set your idle at. The E-303 likes to idle a little higher (900-1000 rpm). I had mine up to around 950 and it just rumbled. I dropped it down to around 800 for my smog check and it is pretty lopey. So lopey that one smog tech asked me what cam I had just by listening. I smiled and said it was stock. He said "no, really, I can hear it, what cam do you have?". [Big Grin]

Haha nice. Here's my famous line," No really it's stock."
