Thinking about getting one instead of vortech?? which is better the s trim vortech or XB1A powerdyne? I can get the powerdyne one for 2515.00 then a $250 dollar rebate, complete kit. Any of you guys have one, let me know what you think thanks

Well from what i have herd and a couple guys i know that they are junk and most of them have upgraded to s trims in disbite. If the charger is belt driven expect to replace one often!

If I were you I would check on the new Kenne Bell twin screw Supercharger for the 2v mustangs [Eek!] ,,it makes awesome power and has available several pullies from 6psi to 15psi and one chip comes tuned for everypulley so you dont need a multi position chip, they also send everything u need,,from bigger MAF,injectors,,boost-a-pump, boost-a-spark(if needed),chip, intercooler, everything to put it on and get ready to go,,

In a 2002 GT it made 505rwhp with 15psi [Big Grin] and nothing else but a cat-back exhaust..I know that engine wouldnt last much but at 9psi it made 400rwhp...I know your would made less than that because of the heads but with heads upgrade later on, you'll be pushing some serious HP [dance]

The XB-1A is Powerdyne's gear driven blower and is good for up to 18PSI of boost. It actually made the same or better power than the S-trim. It is not silent like the old Powerdynes and does require you to punch a hole in the oil pan. It's new gear driven design should prove to be pretty stout and reliable.

The new powerdyne is gear driven not belt, i was just curious cause i could get a pretty good deal for 2250.00 complete. If the power numbers airent there then i will spend more money for more hp, maybe vortech, procharger etc. thanks

Actually that price was for the belt driven one and i dont want that.. the gear driven one is 3200. so probably leaning towards vortech. thanks

I had A powerdyne blower before. I was running 9 Psi. That shit was tight never gave me any problems. The only thing id it was HELLA quiet. I like loud superchargers. If u want a sleeper go with the powerdyne FOR SURE

I wonder how on Earth they do that. [Roll Eyes] Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
