and wanted to now what size studs I need to run
to be legal at the track

No particular size, however most run 3", the stud is required to thread into atleast half on the hex portion of the lugnut.

They told me you have to run a long enough stud for it to stick out the other end of the lugnut.

hey thanks

I asked couse last time I went to the track on et streets she almost made take off the rear tire to check it

and I was told thet stock studs would not cut it

so I need to get longer studs
