Hey guys, I was watching some TV show, all bout this gas station that sells 100 octane car. And this 66 fastback Mustang GT pulls in, to get 100 octane. The uy is talking all bout it, when he got it, how much, why he loves 100 octane gas. Then he talks bout the motor. "Its a 307, which is a 302 bored 30 over (assuming his 30 over is the same as mine, .030), and I just gotta have 100 octane gas. I hate having to put the crap gas in it". So his 302 is bored 30 over, how in the heck do you get a 307?. is it really a .035 bore.

Tell me what you guys think...what bore makes a 307, or is this guy just a guy who had a sick fastback (looked just as nice as Elanor!) but doesnt know shit bout cars?

maybe .040 over?

Yes, a 307 would be a 0.040" overbore (307.5ci). A 0.030 overbore works out to 305.98ci.

He was just a little bit off...
