I think I wanna get a blower for my car now. So what brand should I buy and who should I order from that can provide a good price and fast delivery?
Also - I am still going to buy a new block for my car, but since I want to be blown - what is the best set up to accomindate the blower? Should I stick with a 302, or is a 331 better? I'm not looking to be full out race, just want to know I have the HP if needed and frankly I'd like to have a pretty badass car sittng in my driveway. Should I keep the Systemax heads for my new block and my e303 cam, or ditch them for something else if I end up with a blower??
Thanks for the input guys - I really need to hear from the Mustang pro's out there since I'm not the most knowledgeable on this stuff.

If you want to make more power you can get a 331 and have AFR 185's or TFS high ports put on there with a more radical cam and you will make a lot of power with a vortech with lets just say 8psi.
It's all in how much you would like to spend.

i wouldnt go with a stroked block with a blower unless your running atleast a sportsman block. get a 306 or 308 and pick your favorite brand blower.

Yeah right now I'm leaning twards a s-trim or the procharger. Would I have any problems at smog time with a blower on my car??

Either one provides a CARB legal kit.
Make sure you get it tuned professionally.
If you are going to get a new motor in the future, I would shy away from a stroker. Lots of people love them because they make good numbers on the dyno, but there are comprimises to be made to allow for the longer stroke. This is just my opinion though.
Also, if you get a motor built. Get pistons that will provide you with ~8.5:1 compression.
The heads you have will be fine. There are better if you want to spend more money for parts you already have. Just not cost effective though. I would put the money in to hard parts that will allow you to rev higher with out breaking. Forged crank, valve train...

Another vote for the S trim. Eeasy to install.... a million people have them and can offer install tips, and its been proven reliable with out a doubt.
If you already have aluminum heads on your 302, keep them. Just pulley up the boost if you want more power.

Saw this on eBay - is this something I should get for my car, or am I better off buying one new from a company? Also, is this a good brand or should I stick to Vortech?

Thanks!

Thanks!
I would usually be afraid of used parts but the guy seems knowledgeable and forthright about it. And he says it unused. IMO, I'd snag that one up for that price and regret it if I let it pass by.
