I know it can be done, ive heard about it and read about it,and thats exactly what im trying to do.Ive seen "factory stock" class mustangs go 11.80's,but they have cobra intakes and gt-40 heads(no porting allowed though).I wanna,no,im gonna do it with stock heads and intake.Anyone here done this and got some good input or advice? And i dont mean a 12.99,i mean comfortably in the 12's,like 12.70's or 80's.Ive already done a few things, like eliminate the AC,power steering, smog pump and clutch fan(electric now).I ran a 13.80 on street tires and 3.08's like that.Since then i have added a race crank pulley, dumped the converters and got some shortie headers.4.30 gears are going in next weekend.Input please!

The 60ft will be the key. Some 28" slicks along with those 4.30's is a great start. You need to cut 60ft's in the 1.5x to 1.600 second range for this to happen.
