I did with my STOCK 93 cobra. They are VERY good heads for the money.

Check out the ones for sale for 350 bones. I wouldnt pass those up if I needed heads.

last year I ran some 12.5s @ 3100#'s raceweight (107/8 mph) with them untouched in a stock shortblock no power adder.

thanx guys,but if i was just trying to get into the 13s would it be worth swiching to gt-40s?are thay that much better than the stock e7s or would i be wasting my money and time thinking maby i should just get gears or something?

gears and tires....then the heads. I have seen alot of quick stangs with stock cams. But this really depends on what time you want.

lots of people say i should get gears but is it worth it?if i hit 14.3 at 97mph with stock 3.08s would i hit 13s with diffrent gears?i also hear that gears can slow me down two,is that true?

Gears will slow you down if you don't know how to drive. I.E. tire spin

Yep. Like me, 13s at 117/118mph. sucks. Oh yeah, I'm running iron gt-40s too.

I have some, haven't run it with them yet though, grenaded the motor. Stock parts suck.
