have you ever heard of them not cutting a seat on a new engine and cause engines to burn execessive oil??? just want some thoughts about this

i think your block has to be specially honed for those rings cause they're softer than stock. stock hone of blocks are ment for cast stock rings, therefore are a rougher hone and will eat up molly rings alot quicker like say with in a couple of hundred miles maybe.

I run moly rings on all my engines and only had a problem with them once because i put them in with oil. Now i put them in dry and make sure the cylinder wall is dry for initial startup because this helps the rings seat better. I could be right or wrong this is just my opinion from my experience. Since ive put them in dry i have never had a seaing problem

well im thinking this is my exessive use of oil problem my nebihor did lube the hell out of everything, c the block was honed for moly rings, to be safe should i just go back to cast ??? my motor is some what hypo its a 347 stroker, waht do you guys think??
