What can I expect to get for $2k-2500? What is a good year? Where does the term notch come from? I would like to add another stang to the stable and probably will be limited on funds.

Thanks in advance!

you can expect a bone stock fox body with average mileage for that price. you cannot afford a notch with that price. A notchback otherwise known as a coupe or not a hatchback is a rare to see with a 5.0. they usually go for at least $3500. Good luck in your search of course if you just want another stang you can get a 4banger of those years for real cheap [patriot]

i think "notch" is used because if you take a hatchback looking at it from the side and visualize cutting a notch in it ,it ends up looking like a coupe. [Confused] [Big Grin] [burnout]
