Hey guys,
I built a 408 with 8:1 compresion for a blower application it produces 385 RWHP and 420 RWTQ NA right now. the car has a complete Griggs suspension, T56 transmission, Griggs Alum drive shaft and everything but the kitchen sink. the set-up is perfect for road racing, should I add the blower and blow away everyone on the streets or keep it as is.

Add a ATI with like 14-17# of boost if your fuel system can handle it, or N2O!!!!

Dude you're gonna be hard-pressed to find anyone on HERE that's gonna tell you to leave it as-is (except for now, since I said something about it). Get the blower and own the street.

is there any other reason to get 8:1 compression?
get a single turbo

PTK sells a turbo kit for this exact application. I say get like a T-70 and blow the doors off the blower cars too

f**k a t70, just get a 91.5mm turbo and a glide, then head for some serious times

get a blower with like 15 to 20 lbs of boost

I would think a supercharger would be better for road racing than a turbo....
If that's what the car is set up for, go for the supercharger.

I guess the verdict is out I will add the blower, V2 SQ or T-Trim or Paxton Novi 2000 - decisions, decisions.
