Help, I need help in doing a major tune up. I have someone that will be doing the tune up, but I need to buy the parts first. What parts do I need for a 1993 Lx ? Any help is appreciated.

Distributor cap, spark plug wires, rotor, spark plugs, fuel filter, pcv valve.Set timing at 14 degrees for best power.Make sure you remove the SPOUT connector when setting timing. Its a small gray plug in the distributor wiring harness, right by the distributor.Turn off engine, take it out, restart engine, set timing, turn engine back off,put SPOUT connector back in.Restart.That should be a decent tune up.Also i would add a 180 degree thermostat,or a 160.Although some people would say not to use a 160,i do and have no problems.Cooler engine=more power.

yeah but cooler engine=worse gas mileage, and runs richer(which=less power)
