Is it hard to replace the stock T5 tranny with a TKO tranny? Do we have to change anything?

uh, us fox guys would have to completely replace the clutch (totally incompatible with stock type clutches), and the driveshaft (again, different spline count on the input), and the mounting point seemed to require the AOD tranny crossmember (in a fox anyways) and I had to use like 6-7 washers to hold the tranny at the right position--- had to lift it to get the shifter base higher.

Sorry to bug in but i need help on a TKO.. Tell me if this is wrong but someone told me that the tko's arent meant to be shifted at high rpms?? is that true??? Please say no cuz i need to shift at 6200... [Confused]

6200 is not "high" rpm. I've taken my TKO to 7000 which is near the limit.

did pauls high performance used to have like a high 10 or low 11 second car that had a tko. doubt that was shifted at 6200

Well since no one has responded and said they've put one in a 4.6 i am going to document the entire process and do a write up on it.

Why isnt this tranny supposed to be shifted at high RPMs? And what IS the limit?

We got a scatter proof bellhousing.

Thats what i want to know... I dont understand... Thats all what i got from apex... They told me that the tko doesnt like to be shifted fast at high rpms? i dont know.. I have it in a 4.6 Gt. with a lakewood bellhousing..?????????? i went to bigboyracing and they are hooking me up.. hopefully..it may be in the clutch but right now i dont know... if anybody here knows please let me know, asap.. I need to get it fixed so i can go back to the track and redeam myself.. [Mad] [Frown]
