So I am installing 4.30s in my 97' Cobra and I am trying to find one of those plastic speedometer recalibration gears. Does anyone make a recalibration gear for 4.30s or do I have to buy the recalibration gear for the 4.10s and settle with a 5% inaccuracy? If a recalibration gear for the 4.30s is availabe, where can I find it?
Thanks

Contact Steeda, they sell calibration gears.

94's and up (I think?!?) have VSS..so it's gotta be done via a re-cal on the Computer..I could be wrong though. I know 79-93's only take a gear change. If you do need the gear, FRPP sells them over the counter and have a conversion chart for the correct gear.

speed a little more and get a speedo compensator either from dallas mustang or brothers performance. they are the same unit just with diff. labels. you can use it to correct your speedo when swapping to any set of gears or any size tires. very easy to install too. i have one on my cobra. its about $100.
